Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and posted on tamparenovate.com in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated DMCA Agent with a written notice. Your notice must include the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. Provide specific details, such as the title of an article on Italian interior design or a unique renovation photo.
  • Identification of the material that you claim infringes your copyright. Include the URL(s) on tamparenovate.com where the material is located.
  • Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate. Also, state, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will investigate the claim. If we determine that content infringes copyright, we will remove or disable access to the material.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If your content was removed or disabled due to a DMCA takedown notice, and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This should be a written communication sent to our DMCA Agent and must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material removed or disabled. Also, provide the location on tamparenovate.com where the material appeared before its removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside the U.S., to any judicial district in which Tampa Renovate may be found).
  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will send a copy to the original complaining party. We will typically restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days, unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Tampa Renovate will terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. This applies to any user-generated content, comments, or contributions that repeatedly violate intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts at our discretion.
